The data was extracted using the IBM business analytics and optimization strategic IP insight platform (SIIP), a combination of data and analytics delivered via the IBM SmartCloud, and developed by IBM Research in collaboration with several major life sciences organizations.

To help transform the way they work, the winners will receive Microsoft Office 365 free for a year for up to 25 employees. The five businesses also will each receive $25,000 to use toward business advertising, a check for $25,000 and a Microsoft executive for a day — who will work at the winner’s business or charity of choice.

One of her favorite examples is a double-take inducing shot of campers suspended from trees in portaledges, a type of tent designed for rock climbing. “We knew it was going to be popular because it was so baffling,” she said. “You just thought, ‘Why are these people hanging from a tree?’”
